Are you in your final year of an arts or humanities degree? I remember trying to balance university deadlines, dissertation research and job hunting, and finding it really hard. And graduate schemes come around far too quickly, with Milkround-panic taking over campus. For us arts students and grads, I think it’s often harder working out where we might fit into this. I attended a talk by one of the big graduate recruiters and realised that tax was definitely NOT for me. So, I’ve put together this list of 22 graduate schemes for arts students, all in one place!

But I’d like to also say that grad schemes are not the only option. I went on to do a Masters and then got into museums/galleries. Many of my friends got great jobs or graduate internships during summer term, and others took a break/went travelling first.

So, don’t panic and remember, these employers would be lucky to have you (but only if you really want to work for them!).
